After disassembling this piece I suspect it was made prior to WW1, and possibly prior to 1900. Every joint was crackde and it took a lot of work to reenforce the frame before it could be upholstered. It had straw and horse hair stuffing, I was able to clean the horsehair and reuse it, the straw was replaced with “wood wool”
